The Cursus Collective Story
Cursus Collective is a women-led running community in Australia, built on connection through movement. Alongside our local run clubs, we create premium running gear, performance supplements and relaxed leisure apparel, designed to support women both on and off the run.
Founded by runner and accredited run coach Siobhan Sefton, Cursus Collective was born from a simple but powerful belief, women are stronger when they run together.
What began as a personal vision to create connection through running has grown into a nationwide community built on belonging, consistency and shared experience. Cursus Collective exists to bring women together, wherever they are, and to create space for them to feel supported, seen and part of something bigger than themselves.
As a 2:44 marathon runner, Level One Recreational Run Coach and mother of two young daughters, Siobhan understands first-hand the balance of chasing goals while navigating everyday life. Her lived experience, alongside a deep passion for women’s running, shapes the heart of Cursus Collective.
At the centre of Cursus Collective are the Cursus Collectives Run Clubs, women-only run groups led by local ambassadors across Australia. These groups are built to be welcoming, inclusive and community-first, prioritising connection over pace and creating safe spaces for women to run together.
Beyond the run, Cursus Collective offers a thoughtfully curated range of running essentials, from performance apparel and everyday accessories to supplements researched and designed to support women’s health and movement. Everything we create is designed to support women not just as runners, but as people.
Cursus Collective is more than a brand. It’s a growing network of women moving together, sharing the road and building something meaningful, one run at a time.
