Every week we highlight one of the incredible women that make up our Cursus Collective community. Women who run with heart, chase goals, and inspire the rest of us to do the same. This week, it’s Hannah Young 🤎
We asked Hannah about her progression over the past few years, which has seen her start as an amateur Age Group racer to earning a spot on the Elite stage.
I began triathlon in 2021 as a way to live a healthier lifestyle post COVID. After a successful couple of years racing as an Age Grouper for two years, I applied for my Professional Licence.
During my first year racing Elite I claimed the 2024 Cross Triathlon Australian Champion title.
My goal for 2025 was to go all in on the XTERRA World Cup- a global circuit that tests the boundaries of grit and endurance through a series of 11 races over 8 different countries! With the support of my partner it was a large investment but we were dedicated with the goal of being the first Australian Female to finish the World Cup season ranked within the Top 10.
